COVID-19 UPDATE/ACTIVE PLAN
Albert Lea Gymnastics Club is following state guidelines and well as guidelines action plan in place set by USA Gymnastics.
The gym is updated with social distancing guidelines, hand sanitizers, and cleaning of equipment after use. In addition to a normal spotting station, there will be added independent stations to build on learning skills and equipment routines.
We ask that all kids bring their own water bottle, and use the restroom at home before class. We do have restrooms available, but would like to have the least amount of traffic in the facility.
With preschool and children under 6 years, one parent may stay in club in designated area.
If your child is over six years old, it is recommended from USA Gymnastics Region Board and CDC guidelines (numbers allowed in a building) that parents drop off their child at stairs outside the building or wait in their vehicles.
When you enroll your child in a class, our coaches will make sure during that first week of classes, in September, the class chosen is a right fit for your gymnast.
Coaches will test out for class advancement which is held right before Christmas break.
Every two months a coach/manager/owner will walk through a class, to make sure any kids that need to advance are giving the opportunity. That with be done on an individual/private ongoing basis.

We are carrying a variety of gymnastics leotards and shorts starting today! Stop in Monday or Tuesday evenings or by appointment, if your gymnast would like to try on before purchase!
We love birthday parties at Albert Lea Gymnastics Club! Our parties are scheduled for two hours with you birthday boy or girl in mind. During the first hour and a half we start in the big gym. Warm up with music and our long trampoline with kids dismounting on our long cushioned landing mat. We then travel over to our obstacle course and start relay races on our bouncy floor. After the races are complete we travel around to all the equipment for fun and to also learn a new skill or two! When then adventure to our second gym and have an open gym type concept for play! We usually head back to the big gym for the last few minutes, and finish our party with a bang. The last half-hour is set up for food, cake, beverages, and presents. We have plenty of room in our gathering space. Usually at this point, parents arrive for pickup and the kids leave with a smile!

Most every session during the school year we offer fundraiser that help offset costs to families. We feel it is beneficial, as children are in numerous activities, or have more than one child to pay for. These fundraisers are always voluntary. We pick fundraisers with big returns on food/items sold, which can pay for more than one session at a time. Our FIRST fundraiser will start the week of September 9th, you will be able to utilize funds towards your account starting in October!
We will place orders in September for sweatshirts, leggings, t-shirts, etc. Look for order forms in September!
